STELLITES

This type of partial denture, offered by your dentist, is farre greater than the partial denture acrylic.?

stellite

The frame is metal (an alloy of chromium and cobalt), this prosthesis is very strong. It is smaller and thinner than the acrylic prosthesis. It does not interfere very little movement of the tongue, while reducing the adjustment period. Maintained in the mouth with hooks and supports a few natural teeth, this prosthesis is very stable. But the reason it is considered a superior prosthesis, it is because, provided with support, it does not overwrite the oral tissues and does not damage the remaining natural teeth. Also it does not cause tooth decay when people practice strict hygiene. When placed in the mouth, your technician will advise you on maintenance, safety precautions and sustainability of your metal prosthesis. As with other prostheses, we note some drawbacks, however minor, specific to this type of prosthesis. At first, it is possible that teeth that receive the hooks are sensitive. This sensation is normal but it will disappear quickly. For cons, the partial metal is easy to maintain. It requires very little adjustment during the insertion and during your annual visit to your denturist. When changes occur mouth minors, it is possible to reuse the same piece of metal and make a new assembly of teeth upon renewal. All in all, this prosthesis has many more advantages than disadvantages.
